Detailed itinerary

Trek to Pu Luong Surprising Cave – Fish Catching – Survival Cooking – Visit Handicraft Weaving Village (Full Day)

  • 8:30: Meet your guide at yo ur accommodation and begin the 12 km biking journey.
  • 10:00: Arrive at Surprising Cave and explore its wonders.
  • 12:00: Experience fish catching, relax on a bamboo raft, swim, and learn survival cooking with local ingredients.
  • 13:00: Travel by car to visit the traditional Thai handicraft weaving village.
  • 17:00: Return to your accommodation. Tour ends.

 Good to know

  • The 9 to 12 kilometer hike is not recommended for the elderly.
  • Disabled people and children under 6 years old should not participate in this excursion.
  • Homestay accommodation is basic and amenities are simple.
  • Bring warm clothes, a scarf, a hat and a cap.
  • Trekking shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen and insect repellent are also necessary.
  • Bring cash in local currency (Vietnamese dong) as the banking system in Pu Luong is not always reliable. US dollars, euros and Australian dollars are accepted.
  • It is really hard to find a pharmacies in Pu Luong, you must bring your medication with you.
